Benjamin Killey, M.D.

Dr. Benjamin Killey founded Blue Haven Medical Spa in the fall of 2011. He was trained at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, did his internship at The University of Chicago and his emergency medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He practiced emergency medicine in the Puget Sound region from 2007 until 2022. He received his initial training in medical aesthetics from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine in 2011 and successfully completed and passed the board certification courses.  Since then, he has grown the business from its original location to two clinics in the Green Lake and Ballard neighborhoods of Seattle.  He now practices aesthetic medicine full-time and enjoys training new providers in injectables, lasers, and other energy-based devices.

Dr. Killey has always believed in pursuing many interests in life. He received a bachelor of music in piano performance from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1999. While at IWU, he was the 1997 MTNA collegiate state champion in piano for Illinois and was named the top graduate in the school of music at graduation. Locally, he has worked as the principal accompanist for the Seattle Men’s Chorus since 2021. He was also featured on the television series Untold Stories of the ER on the TLC network in December 2010. His favorite hobbies are playing tennis, going for walks,  and spending weekends on the Olympic peninsula.
